The great thing about Sanachan Bunkhouse, is that it"s slap bang in the middle of three major mountain regions. We have Torridon, Lochcarron and Applecross right on our doorstep. We have everything from Munros to Corbetts, to valley walks and coastal trails, and each one is just as spectacular as the last.
You can do everything from a stroll along a wide country track, to 12km treks between the mountains, getting all of the views, but hardly any height gain, to following trails up to the summits, or even making our own route to the summits- there truly is something for everyone here! You can even get pretty high from the view point car park on the Bealach na Ba, just by using the track- so you don't have to be a hard core mountaineer to make the most of the mountains- but if that is you then there's some super technical routes to try out as well!
We have a giant 1:25 map of the area on the wall of the bunkhouse, covering 5 different OS map sheets, so its easy to plan your routes when you arrive, without having to get out loads of different maps.
